Kinesiology

Electives: Open electives may be at any level, in any Faculty.  Kinesiology elective (KINE 3000 or 4000) courses may be chosen based on recommended clusters in the Kinesiology handbook. If interested in being eligible to apply for Athletic Therapy internship for final year, students must take KINE 3476U Advanced Sport Injury Management as an KINE Elective in year 3.

Specializations: Students have the option to pursue a specialization in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation or Biomechanics and Ergonomics. If you are interested in delcaring a specilaization please use the change of specialization form, and see the tab below for specialization course options for this year.

Please keep in mind that if you are out of sequence, these maps may not be right for you. Please review your full Program Map (by selecting your program of study, “program maps” and your year entry to the program) along with your academic transcript, to guide your registration. We are happy to assist anyone who is unsure of their degree progression or their requirements for degree completion. Please feel free to contact the Health Sciences Academic Advising office at healthscience.advising@ontariotechu.ca
